"Kim Jong Un 'crazy as typhoons' but not as scary, say Guam residents
Hagatna, GUAM: Guam residents say that if given the choice they would rather face the wrath of "crazy" Kim Jong Un than the power of a typhoon, as they count down towards a threatened North Korean missile attack.
As Pyongyang's deadline drew closer, the archbishop of the predominately Catholic US territory urged priests to pray for peace at Sunday mass and prepared for a peace rally in the capital Hagatna.
But on the streets the outward appearance remained calm, with the main concern being the approach of the typhoon season.
"To be honest, I'm more worried about the projectiles from the typhoons when we get strong winds than whatever projectiles Kim Jong Un says he will launch on Guam," Janice Furukawa, a 58-year-old mother, said as she prepared her typhoon emergency kit at her home in the western village of Piti."
Simply love the response by the Guam folks abt Fat Kim vs. the imminent typhoon season!!
They must hv gotten use to picking up the pieces n then reconstructing their damaged homes each year with resolute resilience n love for the place. How else can u explain why people still choose to stay at a place that is disaster prone?
So, Fat Kim probably is picking the wrong people to threaten. Or that's the best him "formidable" missiles can truly reach; assuming accurately!
That brings another point into the discussion. That of opportunities for the THAAM System in South Korea n the just activated enhanced Patriots Anti-missile System in West Coast of Japan to intercept North Korea's supposedly ICBM.
Not something most people want to find out in a real situation. Yet, if it has to be, it better work!!
I wonder what Fat Kim would make of Guam residents' impression of him vs. the winds?
Maybe he will name himself: Typhoon Fat Kim!!
