President Duterte is a confirmed case. The tough criminal busting and 'killing' ex-Mayor of Davao has won the Presidential election over the weekend. He is the self-proclaimed "it is either I kill you or you kill me" crime busting tough guy. He also supposedly promised to get rid of any corruption in government. This is truly wonderfully to behold and I sincerely wish that HE WILL SUCCEED!
He is also talking about letting the provincial authorities to have a say in how the National Budget is to be spent instead of being dictated from Manila which tends to be biased and neglecting the regional places!
This will definitely rock the 'establishment' and the 'greedy' who had been taking from the regions and spending on their 'central' and 'urbane' empire around Manila??
Next move the camera to the presumptive, I think the Republicans are stilling calling Mr Trump, the presumptive Republican Presidential candidate despite his so-called party favoured established politicians falling like flies contesting against Mr Trump! I wonder if the Republican Party will somehow pull the rug from under Mr Trump at the 11th hours. Is something cooking and will explore on the Republicans Nomination Drop-dead date/day? Hmm. Intrigues. Cunning. 'Do whatever it takes to NOT make Mr Trump the nominee'!? I hope NOT! Otherwise, the last superpower which claims to be a democracy will totally lost its credibility to lecture anyone in any countries in the world on what is democracy!!
Will President Trump be like President Duterte? Will he revolutionize government? Will he make USA a better place and a friendlier superpower? I can see almost uniformed dismay at the prospect of having a President Trump. YET, if he does become one, everyone just have to accept it. Being democracy!
