Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong sent a letter to the People's Action Party Members of Parliament (MPs) on Tuesday (Sep 29) to outline the Rules of Prudence that he felt were important for the MPs to adhere to."
Another tradition that PAP honours that I like. In fact, I feel that it should be a 'Rules of Prudence' for ALL Singapore MPs regardless of political affiliation as it is a Singapore GOVERNMENT expectation. An expectation from the People of Singapore too; that they MPs MUST maintain 'integrity and appearance of integrity' and be accountable to the PEOPLE of Singapore.
ONLY with this type of conducts and behaviours CAN Singapore progress to the next 50 years with any hope!
Incorrigibility; Smart forward thinking, planned and effective execution; Harmony among the multi-racial, multi-religious and multi-lingual society; flexibility to deal with external and internal changes; etc are essential for the survival of Singapore.
