Interesting headlines as one would hv thot innovations should be done anytime, n especially during the hard time though some leaders would cut expenses including innovation investment.
While some innovations need lots of money to bankrolled, there are many innovations that don't.
e.g. eliminating redundant processes is one. Innovation in cutting waste or recycling n reuse r other possibilities that will save money instead of increasing spending!!
Of course, the Capability Development Grant by Spring Sgp is a welcome sources of fund for the many SMEs who really rarely hv any money for innovation. Specific industries like F&B, hospitality, cleaning, etc. can do with some fully automated ICT systems, app, hard n soft wares to boost productivity n reduce reliance on massive manpower.
May they be successful as it is a tough tough world out there making ends meet - for the employees n the companies.
