Terrex Saga
Parliament sat today n Sgp government's position revealed by Minister Ng n Minister Vivian.
China via Hkg SAR has no international law basis to hold our Terrex. Sgp has to disagree with China n Hkg SAR government on the principle that we r a sovereign state n an independent nation that rely on international laws to keep peace n equity.
All very well said. China's responses from its supposed proxy newspaper is: party involved need to be cautious with words n actions in this matter.
It also said the hold-up is in accordance with laws n regulations. Of whom is unclear.
So, we hv spoken. If we measure success n effectiveness based on: will they returned? how soon? n also if Minister Vivian's assertion that the biz-to-biz, people to people, etc. relationship should be biz-as-usual is not observed, what r our next moves?
Where is the USA in this case. Why isn't it speaking for us too since China is flouting international law as asserted by Sgp government! (Actually it is better USA stays out of this as it will reinforce China's view that we hv leaned too much to Uncle Sam! Notes: sadly the USA under Trump may actually not be too concerned with Sgp!)
INTERESTING PM Lee supposedly wrote to CY Leung, whose authority is subservient to Beijing for the return of our Terrex tanks. A PM to the head of Hkg SAR?
Very worrying. Looks like all the goodwill built over the last 2-3 decades no longer exist.

Ask Holland what hv they got from Russia abt the MH flight that got shot down by Ruusian- back rebels?
