1st of all Germany, the defending world cup champions, got beaten 0:1 by Mexico! Incisive moves towards the German's goal n pulled the trigger each time. Awesone displays n hence the beauty of this beautiful game - the ball is round n past successes r no indication of future successe!
Then Brazil, one of the favourites, were held to a 1:1 draw by Switzerland! Games ON!!
Closer to home, Osaka woke up to a 6.1 Rated earthquake that killed 3 n injuring more than 300 at ard 9.30am local time. Two friends were in the region touring n m glad to learn they were unharmed though one of them hv to scramble to get his mum n himself out of Kyoto to Osaka airport for Shanghai!! He manged a chartered bus, maybe with other like fated travellers, as the bullet trains were stopped.
Life os unpredictable n the unexpected happened!
Sometimes on trivial things like a game of football where even if your favourite team lost, nobody die or maim!
Other time, lives were lost like in the Osaka earthquake!
