Daily Lessons from Life 13 December 2017 - Nanjing Memorial

A rallying point of sort for China n the Chinese people in recent years as President Xi made it an annual event by attendng it wirh the whole national leadership!

Many emotional n often painful recollection of the infamous Rape of Nanjing by the Japanese occupational forces surfaced at this time.

Some were so emotional as to suggest paying back the Japanese people the same or double the atrocity inflicted by the Japanese occupational forces. Some talked abt "forgiv if u can. Yet never forget!" While some said in order to move forward, one just needs to forgive n let go.

Whatever it is, one thing is very clear, as long as the Japanese government does not apologise for this terrible n inhumane act against the Chinese or stop changing the history books use in its education syllabus, the Chinese government n the Chinese people will always view Japan with suspicion. The decent n normal person will not seek to exact the same treatment of the Japanese people should it invade Japan as it is immoral, inhumane n simply inexcusable behaviours!

So, let it be know that the USA must be careful if it tried to use Japan to counter-balance China.

It is a very emotional issue. When it erupts, it' irrationality knows no bounds!!

Like declaring Jerusalem is the capital of Isreal? Nah. When a race like the Chinese becomes emotional, great great damages can be created.
