He said it is an "honour" to be staying at the Blair House for the 2nd time. A pity this time there is no state banquets n no chance for Mrs PM to showcase some Sgp fashion in shoes, bags, dresses n jewellery. Maybe the 3rd time before his supposed successor from the current cabinet takes over.
The last time PM Lee visited the USA, He SUPPOSEDLY made some bad jokes abt PRC China as alleged by some CNA writers to this news. So, hopefully he will not.
What he may want to do is to correct Trump, whom he will meet on Monday, that he is the PM of Singapore n not Indonesia; a mistake Trump made!!
Whatever it is, Trump is NOT the type of President one wants to meet n do business with as he is so unpredictable.
Just go with some inconsequential niceties will do. Unless, of course, the Chinese leadership whom had met PM Lee just before the 15th CCP Congress have some messages to pass to Trump. Even that I think is a poor choice as PM Lee may not be very good at this as he is a strong leader with his own sense of greatness n pride.
Hv a good trip PM Lee as the battle of the train system continued...
