London demands answers as British rights activist barred from Hong Kong

HONG KONG: A British activist critical of Hong Kong's rights record was barred entry to the former British colony on Wednesday, prompting a demand from London for an explanation, a week before a Communist Party leadership meeting starts in Beijing.

Benedict Rogers, a co-founder of the Conservative Party's Human Rights Commission, has been a vocal critic of Chinese-ruled Hong Kong's treatment of human rights activists, including that of jailed student protest leader Joshua Wong."

The British government surely has more pressing matters like Brexit instead of protesting the RIGHT 9f Hkg SAR of PRC from exercising its right to bar a person who is agitating or sympathetic to members who advocate independence fr PRC right?

The British parliamentarians even advocated barring President Trump fr visiting UK n nobody or not everyone was up in arms, so why this protest here? Misplaced priority n efforts really.

Assuming that the Hkg SAR government let this potentially unfriendly person into Hkg, what can he do for the stability n prosperity of Hkg n the people 9f Hkg? Will he be around to pick up the pieces or create peace n harmony for the Hkg people after the riots n clashes between the pro n against Hkg SAR split fr the motherland, PRC?

Surely not!!

This protest is incomprehensible n totally wrong. It simple shows that the people who protested r still living in the Hkg British colony time!! Stuck in the mud! Frozen n irrelevant! They need to move with time. The time is PRC is on the ascent. Hkg SAR has been returned to PRC since 1997. The Chinese had collected the rent fr the British Empire. It is over. British Empire no more.
