A short one today.
Sgp got beaten 0:2 by Myanmar at the 1st game of the Asean Games in KL.
Am unsurprising results some, or many, may say is expected. Much like the ling suffering Chinese football fans longing for their national team to break into the World Cup, Sgp's football has been in the our for far too long.
Of course we did not spend as much m9ney as the PRC Chinese authorities n clubs. Yet, the amt invested in FAS is big relative to what were spent on other sports combined!
Maybe it is NOT all abt money!! Even in a USD222m Neymar's era!!
It is also any talent n hardwork n discipline!!
I must say this team did give of its best at times. Just that the extra fighting spirit is not as strong as it could be.
Maybe the next game against the hosts, Malaysia on Wednesday?
It will be a boost to beat the hosts in their backyard!!
