17/9 Fixation with EP
Still can't figure out why the government is so fixated on convincing the voters that tweaking the EP is important!
I m not sure the voters r buying it despite so many ministers n PM articulating it!
The most important safeguard is still a good Government. If not, the voters hv themselves to blame. After all, a one party dominated parliament can still veto the EP's veto. Or even replace the EP system in another Constitutional change.
So, why bothered to waste time, efforts n money to hv an EP? Just don't get it. Do U?
18/9 NY bombing - 1st successful attack since 911 in NY?!
That's where the export of grand scale terrorists' attacks happened. Despite Paris n Brussels, NY is still the prize most of these senseless terrorists want.
May the American politicians not forget this.
19/9 F1 is over. Next round of negotiations will start soon after the new owners, Liberty Media, settles in. That "old" creator threatened to leave if he does not get full charge! The new owners must be very weak if it allows that. But then strangest things had happened in this so-called "sports".
For me, if Sgp is making money n employment with this, go ahead n renew. Just make sure we r not holding the can!! Public money must be accounted for here since the government supposedly put up S $50m in each 5-year deal!
