1. Leicester City is crowned the Champions of EPL. One of the world, recent, most expensive and often staffed by obscenely compensated footballers of lesser talents, especially the English ones, football league got its teeth kicked in by a small, much less expensive but definitely hugely talented footballers! Those billionaires' indulgence of clubs like Chelski (Russan funded hence its Russian-like English spelling!), Man City (Middle Easter oil sheiks), Man United (American owners who are disliked by their British fans), and Arsenal (the wrenched Frenchmen managed outfit that can play beautiful footballs but without true killer instincts in the last 10 years!), etc. ALL lost! Poetic justice! The UNDERDOGS are KINGs. How romantic can it be that it is bankrolled, to a much smaller scale, by a Thai company named: King Power! Lovely! I will saviour this for a long long time to come as it probably would not happen in a thousand years!
2. "8 Bangladeshis detained under Internal Security Act - CNA 03 May 2016
The eight were members of a clandestine group called Islamic State in Bangladesh, and were planning attacks in Bangladesh, says the Ministry of Home Affairs."
What's up with these folks? All bearded! Is this some kind of fashion statement by these 'suspected' terrorists who were plotting a terror attack in their home country?
Thank goodness they weren't plotting to have the terror attack in their host country, Singapore. We certain do not want this type of crime here!
Will our home grown would be terrorists be mimicking these bearded folks? I hope so if there must be terrorists among the locals. May they mimic these folks and make it easier for our internal security and counter-terrorists units to spot them, and arrest them!
We will have no mercy on any would be terrorists. As simple as that. So, while I wrote about 'caveat emptor' yesterday. Tonight, it is about: would be terrorists beware as we are onto your beards!
