Daily Lessons from Life 21-23 April 2016 - Another Catch Up ...

1. "Mahathir's pick of national leaders in Malaysia"

The MAN was interviewed, or had been granting interviews to international medias, as he engaged in a public 'war' against the incumbent PM of Malaysia.

I heard part of the interview with CNA reporter on 93.8 radio station. He was candid and admitted just as much when the interviewer asked him how well he has picked the last few PM after his own retirement? His answer: '(was going to say: 'I regret' but turned it into)': 'looking at them, they were good clean men that CHANGED for the worst AFTER they become PMs!). i.e. you never know how people may change for the worst and you just have to place on faith that when the doors open everyone if ready!

Simple answer: his judgement was not good enough! Period!!

2. "Indonesia VP's comments on extradition 'misleading': Singapore - CNA 23 April 2016"

For the life of me, it is the Indonesian VP speaking out of terms AGAIN! This is worrisome as he has consistently being nit picking on Singapore. We will let the Foreign Ministry deal with this though 'rebuff' is a bit stronger as the speaker is after all an Indonesia VP!

Hopefully he is just one and that many other important leaders are more discerning and friendlier. IF not, it will be a tough situation for Singapore going forward.

3. "Prince is DEAD"!!

The 57-year old superstar died today. Autopsy did not reveal any traumas or drug abuses, at least per the preliminary report.

Prince is indeed a genuine. I don't quite 'dig him' when I 1st came into contact with his music. Probably due to his outlandish get-up and 'fashion' sense! He does looks like Michael Jackson if one did not look carefully. Another 'superstar' passed on. So, bless him and his soul that it will find a quiet non-assuming existence!
