Daily Lessons from Life 15 April 2015 - more on:TRS Couple being Charged for Sedition

1. 'He said he was always arguing with family' - The Straits Times  Apr 15, 2015"

Condolences to the parents for this tragic tragedy when one of their kids killed another one of their kids. Hope somehow they can find a closure to this terrible incident.

2. "TRS Couple being charged for Sedition"

Having just commented on the TRS Couple who were charged for Sedition last night, I read on The Straits Times while on the way to Kuala Lumpur today and were surprised some of the articles I read after been sent the links by someone were considered to be: being seditious?

Hence, the need to seek some clarification from the authorities.

e.g. the story of: A Singaporean employer who said he has fired some Philippines and Indian workers for colluding to hiring their own nationalities

While I can totally understand IF the story is UNTRUE, it MUST be flashed out as such.

However, if the story is true and it is a statement of facts, is it considered 'seditious' in that 'it seeks to promote the disharmony between races or nationalities'?

Of course, it is important to note that in the processing sharing a TRUE STORY, there is no need to be rude or crude or to incite 'hatreds of particular communities'. That would be wrong.

So, maybe someone from the Justice system can shed more lights on this particular point? Can one share a TRUE story where some nationalities or races were involved doing something unethical or breaking the law?
