Daily Lessons from Life 01 January 2014 - New Year Resolutions!

First day of 2014 and reading the news I can find some depressing news, as usual, and I am sure I can find some uplifting news as well if I try harder!

The depressing news are: Michael Schumacher, former 7-time F1 (not my favorite sport) champion, is in coma due to a skiing accident with his 14-year old son on New Year Day; dead man found in Lim Chu Kang area in Singapore, etc.

The uplifting news are: Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) has overcome MOST of the massive jam on 30 December 2013, a day after opening on 29 December 2013 Sunday! though the jury is still out on 2 January 2014 Thursday when more workers come back to work and schools start!

Anyway, this is life. It has the ups and downs. Regardless, life goes on! So, here are my 2014 Resolutions. Something to aim to accomplish as best I can!

1. Life Long Pursuit always: - at personal level, to be a good father, husband, son, friend and human being; - at work level, to be a professional; practising the 7e Way of leaders;
 2 To continue the holistic healthy lifestyle of 'eating right and exercising regularly' so as to keep the weight at 73-75kg and off HBP medication;
 3 To continue to find ways to promote the 7e Way of Leaders, to generate revenue from at least 3 sources, and to get article published in established publications;
  4 To continue to contribute as Volunteer Probation Officer (VPO) with the Probation Services Branch; as Senior Health Ambassador (SHA) for Health Promotion Board (HPB) and Handicapped Welfare Association (HWA) if required;

5 To invest wiser and trade wisely to profit from a very challenging 2014;
6 To complete the 2014 SCMS on 07 December 20134under 6hrs and raise at least S$5.7k for Singapore Cancer Society!;
7 To always has space for the Unexpected.
