BOSTON - A massive probe was under way Tuesday after two bombs struck the Boston Marathon, killing at least three and wounding more than 100.

"There are some very sick people out there. Who would do something like this?" questioned running great Paula Radcliffe.

Obama said those behind the blasts that were seconds apart will "feel the full weight of justice."

At the scene, a horrific chorus of high-pitched wailing and screaming rang out as bewildered runners and spectators fled the carnage and debris.

An eight-year-old boy was reportedly among the dead. The Boston Globe identified him as Martin Richard, whose father William was running in the race. His mother and a sister were gravely injured while a second sister was unharmed."

A shuttling news. Yet another senseless, cowardice violent act by the cruel, crazy and confused people who called themselves - freedom fighters or more aptly, TERRORISTS. Assuming it is a terrorist attack.

Lessons for me are:

1. what is wrong with these 'terrorists'? why are they targeting peaceful loving sporting folks and spectators who supported the runners? is man's twisted logic good enough reason for them to kill innocent people, no less an 8-year old kid who was merely supporting his dad in this Boston Marathon? What is freaking wrong with these terrorists?;

2. can such an attack be prevented? are the authorities at fault? could the attacks had been spotted before they become a reality? many questions need to be answered. And I am sure they will be answered. Personally I see the chance of such attack being foiled as miracle. How is one to fathom that the terrorists would target a marathon race? One that has been held for many many years without any incident except for over-enthusiastic runners who over-pushed themselves to the point of death from exhaustion or heart attack? maybe someone could have picked up some signs. Even so, that could be due to a good fortune besides everyone being alert to any suspicious behaviors or movements or actions by anyone else!!;

3. would anyone come forward to claim responsibility? is this a group or just some crazed individual who had a warped mind and twisted logic. Someone who is incapable of rational thinking but just running on pure warped, sicked and wicked emotion? What it is or whoever it may be, I wish that he or she or it be caught and brought to justice. You just cannot go around attacking people indiscriminately in a civilised world. You must be flushed out and dealt with severely. God and every other religious figures willing!!
