SINGAPORE - The police said that they are searching for the man who was spotted stealing money from the accident scene of the horror Ferrari crash that killed three people.

Eye-witnesses said that they saw a man who looked to be in his 30s picking up notes and coins scattered around the mangled taxi while the Japanese victim lay dying in the vehicle.

57-year-old Mr Lim, a cleaner from Malaysia, told Lianhe Wanbao that the woman, who was later identified as Shigemi Ito, was crying out in pain while the man pocketed the money and ran off.

The suspect is believed to have been dressed in a T-shirt and shorts.

Reports said the man pocketed about $300 in all. Mr Lim was not able to react in time to stop the man, the report said."

I hoped this is NOT true. Or that the man who stole from the dying is without a heart or that he has some serious mental problems or fricking life and death issue without those money!

Lessons for me are:

1. humanbeing is capable of doing anything! No matter how heartless or sick!!;

2. this is NOT a war zone who combatants die and know that their belonging will be carted off by the surviving as it is almost an unspoken rule. Still, there are something that the survivors won't take from the fighting dead! This is a fatal accident. Singapore is NOT a war zone for goodness sake! Who is that man??;

3. is this an exceptionally isolated case? I certainly hope so. If not, if this is how citizens or residents of Singapore behave generally, I will be the 1st to leave this land dragging my family members with me as it CANNOT be the land that I want to live in.

My vision for Singapore is: A Vibrant Global City/Country with a 1st World Parliament supervised/governed by a 1st World Citizenry who can exercise independent and balance judgement with the bigger good in mind instead of pure narrowed self-interest! And a country of graceful people who will NEVER steal from the dying and the dead!
