Daily Lessons from Life 18 May 2012 - To be Rich is Wrong?

The family of the Red Ferrari's driver who died while causing 2 other loss of life for beating the red light and now allegedly also 'drink and drive' came out with clubs swinging at many of the 'poisonous', 'toxic' and negative comments about him by the public and netizens that: Not every rich people is at fault or something to that effect.

One can appreciate the pain of losing a husband and son and relative and friend. At the same time trying to defend the person, who may jolly well be a very nice, good and generous person, but who beat the red light and caused the accident that took away his onw life and 2 other innocent parties simply dos not make any sense.

Here lies the issue of: the response by the family is not about rationality but emotion. Hopefully it is the overpowering grief that led them to defend their dearly departed without sparing any thought or a thought for the family, relatives and friends of the 2 innocent lives lost.

Hopefully when emotion dies down, they will understand their dearly departed hubby/son/relative/friend made a fatal mistake. It is a fact that, unfortunately, cannot be undone.

Life just have to carried on ...

May there be closure within and once again condolences to the family, relative, and friends of the dead.

As for anti-Mainland Chinese sentiment in Singapore? It is also an emotional outburst. It is statistically unproven that rich folks are nastier than the ordinary or poor folks. Some are bad for sure just like some poor and ordinary folks are bad.
