Just a quick reflection on 'Just Do It!'
It has been raining the last few evenings. For a jogger it is a nightmare scenario. You cannot jog, really, in the rain.
This evening it looked cloudy. I put on my running shoes and JUST go out there. After 15 minutes on the track round the stadium, it started drizzling. I continued. There is no thunders and lightning so I just continued. Some joggers went off the track. Of course, there were many more who looked at the sky and said: it will rain and I should not bothered to go down to the track to run.
The drizzle threatened to turn into a downpour as it increased the volume a little. I continued. The downpour did not materialized. The drizzle stopped and I continued to the 8km mark. I was perspiring like a pig. It felt good that the body is de-toxicating naturally.
I did my stretch down and go back home. Fully exercised and blissfully satisfied that I JUST DO IT!!
Sometimes things may not turn out as bad as you think. If it did pour, all I need to do is stop and get shelter! Simple!!
Goodnight!
