LONDON, ENGLAND - Britain's Prince Charles has cited the Mumbai shantytown setting for the film 'Slumdog Millionaire' as a role model for sustainable living in Western cities, a report said Saturday.

The 61-year-old heir to the British throne writes in a new book being published next week that the Dharavi slum is better and more instinctively organised than many Western towns, the Daily Telegraph said.

In the book, called 'Harmony', Charles contrasts the 'fragmented, deconstructed' housing estates of Western nations with the 'order and harmony' of the dusty potters' colony featured in the Oscar-winning movie."

It is wonderful that the great Prince of UK hailed the Indian Slum in that Bollywood's smash hit as model for Western life. One way to really galvanise and mobilize the rest of the Western world is for him to 'auction off' ALL his estates, castles and other material possessions and distribute the proceeds to the People of UK who had been financing his royal existence with their taxes paid on their hard earned income! In this way, I am VERY SURE that the world will NOT be skeptical about his naivety. The world will take him SERIOUSLY on his claim that THAT Indian Slum in the firm: Slumdog Millionaire is sincere, real and true!!

Lessons for me are:

1. it is pointless for a wealth good-for-nothing, living off the people' money person to be making such a comment. You have no legitimacy. There is NO sincerity.;

2. however, if you DO make that assertion, then you will need to back the claim up with real actions. This Prince Charles has not done it yet. So, it rings hollow!!;

3. if living in a place without proper sanitation and you have a chance of falling into the sewage shit holes like the protagonist boy in the film, it will be wrong to hail it as a Model for any human being to live in let alone Western or Eastern life. It is NOT the model though the current Western model in most metropolitan mega cities are NOT the model too.

The NEW Model has to be one that is low cost, high quality of living with green and renewable energy all round.

Many countries and organizations and scientists are experimenting with these green technologies. Hopefully they will make announcements in the coming decades that are based on imagination and facts!!

Now, Prince Charles, what is your response to my proposal? Your majesty??
