Daily Lessons from Life 12 August 2010 - Power of Nature

Read about the mudslides in China and the flood everywhere! In China, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Germany and Poland. The drought and fire in Russia. More and more and more!

Lessons for me are:

1. many experts said human being is part of the reason why the earth is experiencing these extreme weather patterns. Many ordinary people still do not know or many of them do not want to know or many of them do not believe the scientific explanation!;

2. many of those who do not want to know or believe will very quickly turned to believers IF they experienced the devastating effect of a flood or a fire. Such is human nature. The good thing is many of those who are believers believed that they need to push the message and educate those skeptics and non-believers. It will be a painful process fully of push backs and setbacks as it is never easy to educate!;

3. in the meantime, maybe we can contribute in our small way to prevent global warming by stop consuming like there will always be resources for us to consume! When we slow or consume selectively with the environment in mind, the limited resources on earth will not be plundered and maybe we will not caused Mother Earth to weep so frequently and flood the place!

May those who lost their dear ones in the mudslides be strong and those surviving gets help as soon as possible from the government and volunteers!
