I missed last night updates as I was not feeling well after the 10km jog after missing the mid-week jog due to the travel to Bangkok last week!
Not a good reason but that was what happened. The cold I tried to 'accelerate' and 'treated aggressively' partly explained the fatigue!
Anyway, read that Lewis Hamilton won the Singapore SingTel F1 Night Race after criticising the 'dangerous' circuit last night. Guessed the more dangerous it is the better it suited his 'aggressive' driving?
I am NOT a fan of F1 as I feel that it is an activity for the rich and wasteful. I am sure the technological advances some of the machines had helped to make driving safer and more enjoyable. At the same time, the time of noise pollution and the consumption of energy to make the machines work must had exerted enormous cost too.
Lessons for me are:
1. something you just need to NOT do when the time is up. Personally, F1 is one of these things;
2. there will be supporters of F1 and this is the beauty about the world. As long as someone is willing to continue fund this activity and believing that it gets out of the F1 races more than he put in, it will continue. Damned the scandals, the wastage, the whatever!;
3. everyone of us have to make our own decision about being eco-friendly and conserving energy. Al Gore has his thing. Many others too. We must have one of our own creation as well. It is called Personal Responsibility and you answered to no one but yourself.
May Singapore gets what it wants from the F1 as long as it still last...
