No news headlines for today.
It is Mid-Autumn Festival in China and they have one day public holiday taken from the usual golden week for the May Day Labour Day Holiday this year.
I went to Robert Xiao's place in SH this morning from BJ and met up with many of his old classmates and business associates. Robert is also celebrating his new baby girl, Yolanda, 100th day since birth!
He introduced a successful China Business Program Producer, Ms Yang Hui, to me and I hope to be able to interest them to put me on one of their programs in China for exposure.
It was a good lunch and stretched to dinner for me. I am very grateful to have a friend like Robert taking care of me!
Lessons for me:
1. it is not the place but the people that you know at the place that make it much often fall sicks, etc...;
2. the more variety your network, the more powerful it becomes;
3. it is about give-and-take between 2 or more parties so than everyone wins!
