1. Why TRUMP win?
More analysis of WHY Trump won the US Presidential election were produced. Some with perfect flawless reasons after the event. Some still very confused. Whatever.
My last take on Trump the President-elect is: can Americans truly believe that their brand of democracy is going to gain any currency IF President-elect Trump GOES BACK on his MANY inflammatory, abrasive, divisive and aggressive PROMISES that those who voted for him, presumably, believed that's what HE will do, with ANY 'decent' human being?
i.e. if he does not build the Mexican wall, if he does not abolish TPP, if he does not do other 'promises' he had made that maddened and infuriated some 'decent' folks, CAN any voters want to vote in the next Presidential election?
Most human being won't. But I guessed the Americans will. As the concession speech and President Obama's speech, especially President Obama's speech, that 'this is the great American way! Campaign speeches and rhetoric are campaign speeches! Don't take it too seriously!! i.e. legitimizing lies and dishonest deceitful speeches during campaigning and totally disregaarerd them after one is elected! OMG!! SERIOUSLY!!
I won't comment on this US Presidential election anymore!!
2. "Extended leave benefits for dads, unwed mums passed into law in Singapore - CNA 10 November 2016"
Finally this is passed into law in Singapore. Especially for the unwed mums. Much has been said about how this may reward the 'wrong behaviours' of girls and women becoming unwed mums! As if girls and women WANT to become unwed mums!!
Unwed mum is often time premature passion unleashed. The men who left after sowing their seeds if you like are not men. The men who stay around but not fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of fathers are worst! Better they disappeared than be around to further sex-plored the mums and torment 'their' kids! Of course, the men who stay around and become, or learn to become, good father, and hence providing good parents to their kids are decent men (or boy-men) and welcomed).
Girls must be taught to protect themselves even if they want to experiment with sex at young age. Contraception contraception contraception is the way to go if they must try or they could not stop their 'boys/men' conjuring and 'begging' and their sweet 'I will be responsible if you get pregnant' talk!
When the reality struck, the girls become pregnant and left to hold the babies, blame not the unwed mums. If blaming can turn back the clock and make the pregnancies disappeared, do it. If not, helping the frightened and confused (most should be at this stage) unwed mums to get on with life! If not taken care of well, they will ruin the life of their unwed babies! Two wrongs cannot right the original wrong! Just as we need to encourage early intervention of parents with their special needs kids, educating and helping unwed mums to be GOOD mums and GOOD Role Models to their unwed kids are critical for their development.
The vicious cycle of: "unwed mums --> bad kids --> unwed mums if the kids are girls -> bad kids ==> miserable life for all!" MUST be broken.
This piece of legislation WILL definitely be helpful to the unwed mums starting up on the journey alone and scared!
One mistake had been done. Another needs not necessarily followed!
This one is MUCH better than the other piece of legislation (or constitution) change of EP for a minority race! Appointed President is better with no election thereby saving time and money of the people.
