"Barisan Nasional's Zakaria Hanafi wins Semenyih state by-election in Malaysia
SEMENYIH: Barisan Nasional's (BN) Zakaria Hanafi has won the Semenyih state by-election, the Malaysian Election Commission (EC) announced on Saturday (Mar 2).
Zakaria won the four-cornered fightwith 19,780 votes and a 1,914-vote majority.
Pakatan Harapan's (PH) Aiman Zanali obtained 17,866 votes, Parti Sosialis Malaysia’s (PSM) Nik Aziz Afiq Abdul had 847 votes and independent candidate Kuan Chee Heng won 725 votes."
This is the 1st of 6 by-elecetions PH lost since their May 2018 stunning GE win n forming the gov which many had hoped would refresh Msia as ONE Msia n starts fulfilling many of the reformation promised like: clean gov, X-PM Najib trial, etc.
2 things may happen:
1. Dr M tries to get more BN MPs to side with him n hi6s Bersatu Party really become the bad old UMNO n the voters' dream of clean, progressive n sincere gov is gone!!;
2. Dr M will not pass the PMship to Mr Anwar!! There will b mayhem in PH n the "opposition" will become the majority with Bersatu + PAS + UMNO. This will b disastrous!!
Sgp must not b the "reason" Msia is unfriendly to us. In the foreign affairs aspect, state our cases n our potential courses of actions n let Msia know we want PEACE n Friendly neighbours always; on MUTUALLY EQUIVALENT basis!!
