Daily Lessons from Life 12-14 October 2018 - Catching up ...

Being tardy n undisciplined! So, hete are some catching up for the last 3 days!

1. "Won with 'style, with big majorities': Anwar on Port Dickson by-election win"

He is back! Finally n will make it truly interesting to see how Dr M n him gets their acts together!!

All eyes will b on Dr M to see if Anwar is allowed to assume leadership position n eventually become the PM as agreed at tje formation of PH!

A chance seized or another sad ending to something promising. Sit tight n hold tight as the real power play begins!!

2. "Bodies of nine climbers killed on Nepal peak found"

A freak acciden is how this tragedy was described! Not sure if anything could hv been done differently if the chopper had dropped off the mountain guides hundreds of times without any incident before this tragedy! If so, it is just fate!!

RIP to the dead n condolences to the surviving family members n friends!!

Could one ever says: At least they died doing what they do knowing the risks.

3. "'It's like I’m part of life again’: The magic when seniors and kids do daycare together

As Singapore starts to co-locate care centres for the elderly and children, CNA Insider visits a groundbreaking project in Germany that has gone even further - and made the old feel young and purposeful again."

Yes this had been done before in Japan n still doing so with positive outcomes. Hopefully this one here will show sustainable successes n that the elderlies r living happily with the kids!

Loneliness is the worst fear for many people, with the elderlies one the most vulnerable.

May more such centres spring up n buy some more time for some folks. With fertility rate below replacement, this model may run out of kiddos!!
