The book, written by former Straits Times journalist Peh Shing Huei, is expected to be the first of two volumes."
Well i guessed writing something abt self n to leave a legacy is important pursuits of person who believes s/he has done something s/he was proud of n making the lives of others better!!
Is this the BEST of time to publish his memoirs so soon after he has drawn the irks of many ordinary Sgp people who make or hv less than Sgd1m a yr as "mediocre n unfit to b a cabinet minister" careless remarks!!??
I believe many will not buy his memoirs as he has crossed the line to take the people for granted.
His remarks just means that Sgp is so fixed on how materialistically it define "meritocracy"!
Surely an elite cannot b just rich n wealthy. If so, how can s/he ever empathise with the poor ordinary people?
