INGAPORE: Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan and his Malaysian counterpart Anthony Loke met in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday (Aug 23) where they discussed "a broad range of transport issues", said Singapore's Ministry of Transport (MOT).
These include the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) link project and the Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) Tebrau shuttle service."
Finally officially Sgp n Msia ministers meet to discuss real issues face to face!
While it is not abt the emotionally sensitive Water Agrmt or the highly hyped HSR project, it does involve tje JB-Sgp RTS n KTMB services that will impact immediately the flow of human traffics between JB n Sgp.
If there were any torny issues n major disagreement of interests, hopefully they can be resolved amicably without going to the international courts.
Of course, if after relentless n mutually exhaustive efforts to come to some agreements failed, both can reach for that last option.
We can't move each other's country to another neighbourhood. N we all know having a harmonious n collaborative caring neighbours is a blessing anytime!
Let's hope that is the final position both arrived at!
