BEIJING: China launched a nationwide investigation into its kindergartens on Friday (Nov 24) after parents at a Beijing preschool said toddlers had apparent needle marks and were given mysterious pills - sparking outrage days after another daycare scandal.
Security personnel installed a cordon at the gate of the RYB Education New World kindergarten on Friday after dozens of curious onlookers crowded outside the high-end, bilingual Chinese-English nursery, which was still operating.
A day earlier, furious parents had gathered in front of the gate to demand answers from RYB, which is run by a company that started trading on the New York stock exchange in September. Its shares plunged by more than 40 per cent in after-hours trading.
China's official Xinhua news agency said children were also "reportedly sexually molested" but gave no further details."
The Chinese social media space exploded with many angry comments on how terrible the crimes against the kids were! Some advocating death by a thousand cut for the abusers with no mercy!!
It is unimaginable how sick these perpetrators must be to systematically abused the kids who were to be protected n care for by their trusting parents!!
It is reasonable to day that the perpetrators must be put to the swords as they obviously cannot behave properly n must not be given a 2nd chance to continue to hurt other kids!
It looks like monsters r everywhere as such child abuses happened in the western world, the arab world, everywhere!
Are there inherent evil in some of these people? Could such abuses be prevented? Especially in institutions like child care n nursery care centres?
May the kids get help n so do the parents n relatives.
May the criminals be brought to justice n be punished severely! Death by a thousand cut 8s definitely an option.
