I wonder if anyone ever see it coming!! Those learnt experts n what- not!
He is visiting China n readying lots of business people with him. Trade, hopefully mutually beneficial, will grow from there.
Just be aware of the risks n assume there will be none just because the 2 Presidents agreed in the dealswill be dangerous !

2. Politics of Taiwan, Hkg n Sgp
Happened to hv friends on this biking trip from these countries n those fr Taiwan n Hkg lamented how messed up their politics r when some lawmakers want to go against China.
ROC is a country for many years while Hkg never was but a colony rented to the British. So, while one can understand where the independent elements r coming from. The Hkg ones hv no ground to stand on.
In any case, unless both can stay economically independent from China, there is no chance for them to succeed. Can the USA help? Unlikely. Will British help, Definitely not given Brexit!!
So, Sgp is better in that sense relative to Taiwan n Hkg when dealing with China. Yet, there is no reason for Sgp to upset China too much with the South Sea issue.
Just be careful.
