What to make of this silly behaviours by trained medical doctors?
Lessons for me are:
1. this story again demonstrated that highly trained and educated specialists in certain professions are NOT very wise people! So, one should really STOP trying to compare oneself to lawyers, doctors, accountants, engineers, etc!;
2. it is pretty clear that it would be OK if they had asked someone else to take a photo of them operating instead of posing during the procedure as a 'documentary for teaching' purpose! Alas, the so-called smart people are not very wise. Again, wisdom is hard to get!;
3. would this happen in Singapore? I venture to say: NO. Or even be daring to say: NO WAY! as Singapore trained doctors will do the right thing knowing that taking a selfie in the middle of a procedure is a taboo and suicidal career wise! Or would they?
Notes: good to learn that Minister Khaw is suggesting that the laws be changed to allow HDB authorities to enter flats with KNOWN issues when repeated attempts to gain access to the concerned units were thwarted by the uncooperative flat owners. For those who are concerned with 'invasion of privacy' or the laws being abused, they just have to think harder and deeper on the few cases of 'dead rotting bodies' and 'filthy inhuman living condition flat' reported in recent years to know that their insistence in these cases will be looked upon as idiotic and moronic to not grant access to them to fix issues!
