Daily Lessons from Life 09 September 2014 - Video of boy abusing and killing dog in Malaysia sparks outrage

MH17 Updates - Flight MH17 hit by numerous 'high energy objects'. At least there is confirmation of what the world had been saying! May the culprits be put to trial and punish for killing innocent lives!

"Video of boy abusing and killing dog in Malaysia sparks outrage - The Star/Asia News Network Sep 09, 2014

PETALING JAYA - A video of a boy abusing a puppy has enraged netizens in Malaysia, with many calling for him to be arrested, or be subjected to legal action. The 50-second long video shows a boy holding a puppy by its tail and violently swinging it around as the puppy yelped helplessly.

He then throws it up into the air, and attempts to catch it, but fails. At this point the puppy appears to be dead, but the boy continues battering it. The boy, who looked like he was enjoying himself with a friend in the video, then flung the puppy into nearby bushes.

Lately, there has been a worrying trend of videos of animals being abused posted on social media despite public outrage.

According to the present Animal Act 1953, animal abusers face a fine of RM200 (S$79), or six months in prison, or both. However, last year, an Animal Welfare Bill was proposed, calling for first-time offenders to be fined between RM20,000 and RM100,000, or face a jail term of up to three years. The Bill, which was tabled in Parliament in February last year, has yet to be passed."

This is SHOCKING as the perpetrator is a young boy.

Lessons for me are:

1. when human being this young did this cruel act to a puppy, there is real worry that the boy will grow up to be a MONSTER that tortures and kills human being! This is, if the many police thrillers TV and Movie scripts are to be believed. Psychopath and serial killers tend to show sign of extreme cruelties in their childhood! Maybe we need to REAL police psychologists to confirm if this profiling is true or not!;

2. whatever it is, it is surely a sick mind will resort to deriving 'happiness and joy' or 'excitement' from torturing a puppy or any other defenceless animals! It is even more disturbing when the culprit thought it proper to post this cruelty on the social media. Another alarming sign that the mind-set cannot be normal! Of course, these days many 'ABNORMAL' behaviours seem to be (BUT NOT really) acceptable as 'NORMAL'!;

3. whatever the police will take, they should track the culprit down and find out IF the 'director/cameraman' of this video had influence the boy to do what he had done. That besides the boy, who could be dimmed witted and manipulated by the 'director/cameraman', the 'director/cameraman' MUST also be arrested for involvement or even instigating such a disturbing killing of a puppy.

It is not pleasant reading. A very sad story - for the puppy, the boy and the boy's parents!!
