UNITED NATIONS: The UN Security Council on Friday demanded a full, independent and international investigation into the apparent shooting down of a Malaysian jet over Ukraine that killed 298 people on board.

"The members of the Security Council called for a full, thorough and independent international investigation into the incident in accordance with international civil aviation guidelines and for appropriate accountability," the council said.

"The members of the Security Council further stressed the need for all parties to grant immediate access to investigators to the crash site to determine the cause of the incident," it added.

The Security Council added to mounting global demands to find those responsible for apparently shooting down the Boeing 777.

Local emergency crews picked through terrible carnage at the crash site, placing dozens of sticks with white rags in the ground to mark where bodies lay. The jet came down in corn fields in the separatist-held region, spraying debris and body parts for kilometers around, with the United States claiming it was shot down in a missile attack."

This is very sad and traumatic. What kind of world do we live in where 'trigger-happy murderers' in the pretext of 'armed conflicts or declared war' can shoot down a commercial plan flying in the approve air-route and killed 298 innocent lives just like that!!

Lessons for me are:

1. the 2 parties can deny for all they like and try to put blame on the other sides, the people are clear that one of them are directly responsible for this terrible killing and the others are indirectly responsible as if there were no 'armed conflict and undeclared war', NOBODY would be shooting at anything in the peaceful sky!!;

2. the party that pulled the trigger obviously will have to shoulder a bigger responsibility while the other party will take responsibility for the next worst consequences;

3. is this a bad year for MAs? has it been cursed as an India Airline plane and a Singapore Airline plane were only 25km ahead and 25km behind the MH17 that was struck down!! It could have easily been one of the two instead of MH17!! Well, I don't believed in 'bad fate' or 'fatalism'. It happened and it could have happened to any airline. The key is to deal with it matter-of-factly'. who shot? why shot? any credible evidence to support whatever 'conspiracies' you put forward.

Merkel challenged Putin to makes sure that the 2 'warring sides' STOP the conflict and allowed the international investigators to conduct a thorough investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice. Let there be NO MERCY from the investigators.

May this one be resolved much faster and clearer that the mystery of MH370.
