"Queue for Despicable Me minions stretches across bridge in Bishan - Singapore, July 25, 2013 Stomp reader Alycia captured a snapshot of the long queue for Despicable Me minions at McDonald's today (July 25) at 11am. Alycia said the queue for the minions at Bishan Park was still long 40 minutes after the release of the toys. In an email to Stomp, she wrote: "This photo was taken at Bishan Park at 11am sharp, just as McDonald's released its third batch of minions. "Looks like the craze hasn't ended yet. "There is still a long line of people queuing up for the toys at 11.40am."" YES. It happened AGAIN! Lessons for me: 1. one can never underestimate the determination of people wanting 'something'!; 2. the power of marketing or the power of self-driven self-fulfilling prophecy?; 3. am I mad for NOT having ANY urge at all of queuing up? Am I normal? Guessed I am as the queue is NOT really 10 thousand strong. :-) Another 'interesting' sight. Another 'interesting' episode in modern men and women's life?
