Take a break from the GE fever that is raging now in Singapore!

I have a wonderful chat with my 2 elder kids this evening after dinner. The topic was the state of Singapore and its future! Heavy stuff indeed for an after dinner chat.

I enjoyed it a great deal as we were all able to keep our emotion in check touching on our favour topics like: the impact of foreigners to Singaporeans' life and work, what is a world class education system that Singapore government talked about, was one of the email that circulated around on why the PAP government is in danger of losing its way and that there is a need for a gentle shake at the core, etc...

At the end, it is really what the young people makes of Singapore future that counts. It is their destination and their history to be created.

Personally, the younger generation needs to be: independently thinking, flexible in adapting without breaking some fundamental universal principles like respect for self and others/ create a greater good with one's talent/ problems solving rather than lamenting/ appreciate and facilitate team performing at the optimal level leveraging on diversity/ be at peace with spiritual and material balance!

I look forward to another quality time with the kids!! Love IT!!!!
