Daily Lessons from Life 13-14 March 2011 - Japan Earthquakes ...

I have been following the various news report on the disastrous earthquake and subsequent monstrous tsunami that destroyed towns along the North Eastern coasts of Japan.

I have also read and heard how the many news media around the world commented on how there was no panic, no looting, the victims were still very civil forming lines to buy or get their shares of drinking water and food stuffs, volunteers forming lines to ferry needed daily essentials to the needy, etc. I can hear and sense the public amazement and admiration of how the Japanese people reacted in a manner unthinkable in other parts of the world where violence and looting and wailing and lost of control were more par than exceptions.

This is something perhaps this disaster can teach the rest of world who may be at the edge of the ring of fires where question about earthquake is: when will it happen instead of if it will happen!

The resolve of the Japanese people will continue to be tested as the severe aftershocks continued. Some could be as big as a Richter scale 7.0. As the complication of the 3 nuclear power plants been damaged by the quakes and the tsunami simmering. It is something that many hoped will be go the way of the notorious Chernobyl of USSR era!

May the braves continue to persevere and fight the fight. May the weak be helped. May everyone realized that in time of crises being civil help everyone to get on with the hard blows that life dealt them!

I salute the Japanese people. They won the admiration from me.
