No news headlines for today's blog.
I have been pretty busy with work the last 2 weeks as I familiarize myself with the new program in deeper details for 2 sessions and the Taipei trip for Motorola Taiwan. A few nights in a roll I worked past 2am, and once even knocked off at 4am before getting up for the new day at 7-7.30 am!! So, while I did jog on the treadmill once and along the river bank once when in Taipei for a decent 75 mins each time, the body is not as well tuned as it should be or could be!
So today after the 3-Day program, I was not sure if I should go for the jog at night. An hour after dinner, I put on my running shoes and go out to jog! The 1st few steps did not feel right as I felt a little pain just below the left knee. I decided to brisk walk instead and that took a good whole 15 mins. Then I started jogging as I did not feel I am burning the fats! I managed to catch up the time and cover another good 60 mins jogging with the last 6 mins speeding up a little.
I felt good! I am glad I went for the jog!!
Lessons for me are:
1. to persist with a good habit is challenging. There are always some 'good' reasons to not do it consistently! I must fight that temptation and be fairly disciplined!;
2. a leader, it is important to be healthy and energized. So, regular exercise is a must. When you are tired, you will feel refresh after a decent work-out or exercise or jog or swim or whatever that suit your physical condition. So, just do it!!;
I look forward to tomorrow as I know it will be a better day!! ;-)
