Daily Lesson from Life 12 October 2008

No studied Headlines for Me Today

Just want to share with the readers that I have a good Sunday with my family. Went out in the morning to visit my mum at my brother's home with the whole family. Then went for our breakfast and sent Zheng Jie for his haricut.

Came back to do some work and off we went to Ikea, Singapore, to saviour it's famous beef ball and other foods for a late lunch. Went to the in-laws' place after that and hang around till after 8pm before heading home.

Watched an amazing documentary by National Geography Channel on the construction of the 'totally green San Francisco Academy of Science museum'! An awesome site with many innovative green construction technologies employed. It is mind-boggling how the main architect, the Italian gentleman, could conceptualized from his rough sketch pad on the 1st day to the day the magnificent building was completed.

Huimin commented that we should visit it one day! I am sure we will get to do that one day!!

Well it is going to be another week and hopefully the financial market will have some semblance of clam and orderliness. I do not expect the stock market to bounce. Instead I look forward to 'plain vanilla no volatility' for the next 3-month. The consequence of the financial turmoil will be a slow down of real economic activities and hence recessionary.

Let's see how things unfold over the next 1- or 2- or 3-month and next 1 year!
