The question of Race in a multi-racial society!
This is normally a taboo topic for public forum in Singapore due to the great destruction it can bring IF it is out of control!! I can empathize with the rationale. When emotion takes over from rationality in a conversation, no one can talk sense to each other.
Yet the race issue MUST be addressed for a multi-racial society so that the social fibres are tested and guided towards positive results.
1，all must acknowledge there is only 1 entity for a citizen of a nation. e.g. American for USA, Chinese for China, and NOT white or black or yellow Americans or Chinese!!;
2. all MUST understand and take to it's heart that insulting another race is definitely a NO NO!!;
3. all MUST present CONCRETE and SOLID evidence to justify WHY their position is MOST acceptable?
It is absolutely critical to ensure that whenever someone talk about race, and religions for that matter, they MUST keep themselves objective by asking questions to clarify any perceived weaknesses! Also, they must provide FACTs and 'line of defense' that can stand to scrutiny!
