Daily Lessons from Life 25-26 January 2020 - Wuhan Virus still...

"Hong Kong protesters torch planned Wuhan virus quarantine building

HONG KONG: A group of protesters set alight on Sunday (Jan 26) the lobby of a newly built residential building in Hong Kong that authorities planned to use as a quarantine facility, as public fears in the financial hub about the coronavirus outbreak intensified.

A Reuters witness saw several masked protesters, clad in black, rush into the public housing block in Hong Kong's Fanling district near to the border with China, and set alight a Molotov cocktail before running out."

So, what do one make of this: "Burned it down b4 they build such a facility so near us?" or "Let's just cintinue our protests regardless of Wuhan Virus or what-not?"

Is the former more acceptable as protecting one's own survival is totally natural?

And the latter just a stupid decision to continue the fight for the "5 Demands" movement regardless of the need to contain the Wuhan Virus?

Or maybe the extra conspiracy theorists that say: this Wuhan Virus quarantine building is actually to imprison any protesters to the 5-Demand??

Whatever it is, the authorities, again failing to act right, have stopped the attempt to make this torched building thd Wuhan Virus quarantine building n leaving this existential need to hv such quarantine building unfilled!!??

Maybe Hkg SAR protesters r right? Maybe there need to b more infection cases n death b4 reality is confirmed?

While in mainland China, 11 cities were locked down n 22m people locked in all at the order of the authorities n their own sense of "This is a crisis n we need to pull together n minimise or eliminate the chance of spreading through staying home m avoid unnecessary contacts with each others!!

Like i said b4: let's hope this is nothing close to the deadly SARS!
