A Hkg SAR buddy n his wife visited Sgp last few days. Got to fetched them to the airport today 4 Hkg SAR n got talking abt the 6-mth of unrest n push 4 democracy.
They shared that they don't understand the protestors that pushed 4 democracy n independence for Hkg SAR.
They mentioned rational matters like: do they hv a plan on how Hkg can survive as an independent nation? where r they going to get enough drinking water, foods n veg, defence, housing, etc., etc.
Some mentioned the USA can finance the independence. Will they?
Looking at the USA's track records in the Middle East, it is MUCH better at starting a democratic revolution m leave the nation in ruinous internal war n violent conflict than building a strong, peaceful, stable m prosperous nation!
So, maybe someone in the democracy 4 an independent Hkg r smoking something or truly hv a plan!!
Whatever it may be. The fate n destiny of Hkg or Hkg SAR r only to b determined by its people.
Each action n choices made will hv consequences. Everyone must b prepared to face it! For better, hopefully, or for worst!!
