China has come a long way from being poor n "backward" economically.

Interesting that it cannot, or does not want to, avoid the known path of smog dilemma faced by London many years ago.

This despite having the knowledge n technologies to do differently. Not to mention many wise n world educated top 3-5%. Many were schooled in top schools in the West.

Maybe it is "cheaper" to grow the economy without care for poisoning the environment the people r living in. Weird logic. Sick in fact.

May China somehow find a solution to this potentially life threatening hazard long term. Otherwise the parody of: "We create wealth so that we can spend to get back our health!" will ring true!!
