1. LTA confiscated reckless e-scooter drivers
Great news. Finally enforcement had been stepped up before more unnecessary injuries n even deaths happen!!
My proposal is: in addition to fining n confiscating the reckless drivers' e-scooters, maybe jail n caning might be in order for reckless drivers. Taking it a step further, to fine n jail the vendors who helped "pimped" it. i. e. modified the machine to speed beyond that allowed by the regulated speed!
2. Sgp 1st driverless taxi met with the 1st accident with a lorry driven by a driver
An ambitious experiment though I m not sure why we want to put priority on this one as: 1. Will it put more PMETs out of a job since many unemployed ones turned to driving taxi for a living?: 2. can science really solve the "do as instructed driverless cars" interacting with infamously inconsistent human drivers on the same roads?; 3. how would the heavily funded GrabTaxi/Grabcar/Grab-anything by Temasek makes money from there?
