What is going on here? Is this TRUE religious actions and behaviors? My notion of Buddhism is one of Nirvan through self-meditation and self-discipline. Helping the weak and disadvantaged, sacrifice oneself to create good for fellow human being, etc. So, this cannot be what true Buddhists do!! This new POPE is different. He is not young SO he is on a mission to make up for lost time!! Maybe he was hurting badly when his Religion was attacked for good reasons and he could not do anything except to quietly build up his contacts and be ready to be POPE! As POPE, he can do WHATEVER he wants even if there are so called protocols and precedences. He can CHART a NEW WAY if he is strong and committed enough. I like what he is doing since he became the POPE. Pope Francis. Keep up the good work. Maybe Roman Catholic Church has hope NOW!! :-) I also hope that those, hopefully a minority, Buddhists attacking the Muslims and killing them to get back to their basic like Pope Francis is doing. Think deeper on what is the true meaning of your religion. Without HOPE, mankind will flounder.
